Words on the Waves: Family Fun Day
Immerse yourself in a festival of stories and ideas, Words on the Waves offers a diverse range of high quality literary events for both the Central Coast community and visitors to the area. Fostering literacy and a love of reading in the next generation of readers and writers on the Central Coast, the festival offers a range of events for children and teens featuring a host of talks and live illustration demonstrations, story time, face-painting, book launches and more! GLOWFEST
GLOW Fest Circus Arts & Lifestyle Gathering returns for its 4th year and first Springtime edition, featuring an array of workshops, performances and the CRUD Space where visitors can enjoy all-ages creative activities throughout the day.
Long Jetty Festival
Long Jetty Festival is expanding bigger and better with their new October date. Enjoy an array of entertainment including buskers, backyard parties, sport and rec, eating comps, art precinct, kiddies corner, and amusements! Drop into the CRUD Space for free all-ages creative fun!
Coast Shelter Youth Week Event
Following the success of last year, Coast Shelter is excited to host another impactful event for Youth Week 2024. Roots Women's Embodiment Festival
Set in a spacious clearing on Dharug Country in NSW, Roots is a weekend curated for women to experience the support of sacred sisterhood. Enjoy the largest local handmade Christmas event on the Central Coast at Mingara Recreation Club where 160+ vendors will be selling their unique wares. GLOWFEST
Returning to Waves Campground for its third year, GLOW Fest is a circus arts and lifestyle gathering held in the stunning beachside location of Crescent Head on the mid north coast of NSW. More than just another flow festival, GLOW Fest's program is absolutely brimming with artsy goodness from morning to night including workshops, fire performances, open mics and the CRUD Space!

Walkabout Wildlife Community Project
Our Natural World exhibition is a Tuggerah Lakes Art Society collaboration being held at The Art House, Wyong throughout August to highlight the environment’s importance through art and related activities.
With support from the Lions Club, The Crud Muffins will be facilitating the creation of a collaborative artwork titled ‘Safe Cat, Safe Wildlife’ to be donated to and installed at the Walkabout Wildlife Park for use as an eye-catching educational resource which also brightens the sanctuary grounds.

Words on the Waves is a not-for-profit literary festival based on the Central Coast, NSW offering a diverse range of high quality literary events for both the Central Coast community and visitors to the area including the bigger, better and ENTIRELY FREE Family Fun Day! Central Coast Comicon is the major annual fundraiser for Regional Youth Support Services Inc (RYSS), a locally based youth service that has been delivering support in the Central Coast region for over 3 decades. The funds raised from the ticket sales for both Central Coast Comicon and the After Party directly support children, young people and their families in the local community. All ages and abilities welcome to enjoy pop-cultural interactive experiences, attractions, and all-day entertainment including the CRUD Space!
